Joy of Living Camp provides opportunities for children to interact with horses in a very relaxed, but purposeful way. As children work alongside our horse trainer, they will learn horse-handling and care, horse communication, social interaction, and connection with God and others. For participants, life lessons learned alongside horses can have a trickledown effect, helping with self-esteem, ADD, ADHD, depression, and anxiety.  By working with horses and with others, children will learn relational skills as they discover their God-given potential.

 

For kids and youth ages 10-15. The program will be held on five consecutive Thursdays running April 29th through May 27th. Participants will be picked up from Mt. Vernon at First Church of the Nazarene at 3:45 PM and dropped off at 6:00 PM back at the same location.
